Nintendo game cube1 300x168 Gamecube Emulator for Android

Wonder what we have for you now? After DreamDroid emulator we have got a Gamecube Emulator for Android. Shocked? I guess. Many of people think that the Android devices could not emulate advance platforms like Gamecube etc. But it’s not true – Many of developers didn’t know how to write programmes like this. It’s not easy. We are sharing our knowledge with us only for the educational purposes. We are not offering iso games, but you can find it on the internet. But remember. It’s not a legal way. So… Check our new child and write in comments how it works!

Nintendo is a titan in video games industry. Company was created in 1889! And, of course, they did not started in making the high tech products. So, they were selling trading card games like Hanafuda. So, we can say, that can be a beginning to develop something new. In 1950′s they began to sell some primitive electronic gadgets, starded a taxi company and a “love hotel” (short stayplace where the couples can do everything they want, if you know what I mean icon smile Gamecube Emulator for Android ). They even created a food company which was selling an instant rice (similiar to the instant noodles).

So, what made the Nintendo big? The first global major success was a first NES. 8-bit machine which started some popular franchises like the Mario, Legend Of Zelda, Metroid and many, many others. It was the first available at affordable price and graphically it beats every Atari system, Colecovision and others. Also,  simple but a very good controller – cross and A B buttons. After that, the next big succes was a Super Nintendo Entertainment System, also known as SNES. 16-bit games were looking awesome at these times and the only serious competition was Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. The both consoles made Nintendo a bilions of US dollars and the future of the Nintendo was visible in oly bright colors.

After that, they had failed with theirs primitive attempt to bring Virtual Reality, years earlier before the Google. Virtual Boy has only several games released for this system and no one was really good. Playing in virtual reality (only in red and black) was also very tiring. So, the process of manufacturing Virtual Boy stopped real quickly. Another chapter is the handhelds. Nearly every was very succesful and Nintendo is a dominating brand in this part of industry. This helped to create the Pokemon franchise which is known globally and brings a lot of money from 18 years.

But before the release of VirtualBoy, Nintendo was seeking for someone to create the CD Drive addon for SNES. They were negotiating with Phillips and Sony, but both ideas ended as completely independent consoles: Philips CD-i and Sony PlayStation.

Nintendo 64 was released some time after its competitors: Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation and unlike the others, it did not offered the CD Drive. Games were published on the cartridges, like in the previous Nintendo game systems. It could be the worst desision in video gaming because less capacity means less abilities. But, this time, the magic of Nintendo worked and console has sold well, especially because of the games: The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time, Super Mario 64,  007:  Goldeneye are only a few of the big library of games that could be playable to this day and even bring so much fun.

So, the seventh generation was started by Dreamcast in 1998, in 200 we had the second Playstation in stores and just a year later, there was a succesful launch of Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube. Nintendo began providing development kits to game developers for a new video game console codenamed “Project Dolphin” as early as May 1999 and the rumors of creating something new were confirmed in 2000. Some Nintendo 64 titles that were in development were shelved in favor of being early releases on the GameCube.  In parallel, they were planning to release the newest version of their handheld – Gameboy Advance. Gamecube is able to connect this device in order to transfer some data or play the GBA on your TV.

Nintendo started its promotion campaign with the slogan “The Nintendo Difference” at the E3 reveal. The goal was to distinguish itself from the competition as an entertainment company. Later, advertisements pushed the catchphrase”Born to Play”, and video game commercials featured a rotating cube animation that morphed into a GameCube logo and ended with a voice whispering, “GameCube”.

The GameCube launched in Japan on September 14, 2001. Approximately 500,000 units were shipped in time to retailers. The console was scheduled to launch two months later in North America on November 5, 2001, but the date was pushed back in an effort to increase the number of available units. The console eventually launched in North America on November 18, 2001, with over 700,000 units shipped to the region. Other regions followed suit the following year beginning with Europe in the second quarter of 2002.

Gamecube’s processor, known as Gekko was designed by IBM. It’ runs at 485 Mhz and features a floating point unit (FPU) capable of 1.9 GFLOPS. Flipper, the console’s graphics processor (GPU), was designed by ArtX – a company that was acquired by ATI soon after being contracted by Nintendo to design the processor. The GPU runs at 162 MHz and, in addition to graphics, manages other tasks through its audio and input/output (I/O) processors. Gamecube also has one the best controllers I have played on. Engineers made a better controller than the N64 ones, but quite similiar.
